WHO WE ARE
BRIDGE is a youth-led educational equity, inclusion, and accessibility initiative that supports neurodivergent elementary school children and their families from underserved, multilingual, and historically underrepresented communities.
We work to increase access to resources, help families navigate educational systems, and promote inclusion.

To reduce educational and systemic disparity affecting neurodivergent children of underserved, multilingual, and underrepresented backgrounds through resources, support, and community involvement.

To create an educational system in which neurodivergent children of underserved communities have equitable access to support, educational opportunities, and resources needed to thrive.
WHY BRIDGE EXISTS
Neurodivergent children of color and multilingual backgrounds are systematically underserved by education and healthcare systems that are not designed to identify and support their needs equitably.
This can lead to delayed or missed diagnoses, limited access to support services, and barriers to meaningful inclusion in educational environments.
BRIDGE was created to help address these challenges through education, advocacy, and accessible resources.

FOUNDER'S NOTE
Hi! I’m Fabian, founder of BRIDGE.
I started BRIDGE because I noticed the disparity between students of color who are neurodivergent and their White neurotypical counterparts in educational and medical settings. Through research, I was able to affirm my observations and learn about the problems these communities face.
I hope to not only manage a successful organization but also to change the lives of neurodivergent youth and their families from multilingual and underrepresented backgrounds.
While BRIDGE is still growing, I aim to build a platform that helps families navigate educational systems and promotes greater inclusion for all learners.
